OUR
MISSION

Our mission is to bring international attention through three distinct phases to the genocide against Uyghur people.

OUR MISSION
STATEMENT

Our mission is to bring international attention to the plight of the Uyghur people, as well as other populations within Xinjiang, China. We hope to educate, enact legislative and cultural change, and promote justice. We are passionate about giving voices to those who cannot speak and we will continue until the oppressed are given the security, freedom, and peace everyone is entitled to.

Below are the three planned phases of our project.

EDUCATION & INFORMATION

The first phase of this project is education and information. By creating social media accounts, researching the topic, creating a short film/play, and hosting a virtual educational event, we have worked hard to spread knowledge on this topic. We believe that the first step in fighting any issue is education.

FOLLOWING & PUBLIC SUPPORT

In line with our education phase is our second phase of following and support. Hand in hand, the two have allowed us to get our name out to more community members and grow the reach of our project. We are still working on growing our support and following with the growth of the project as a whole.

LEGISLATIVE & CULTURAL ACTION

The final phase that we have made significant strides toward accomplishing is legislative and cultural change. Our end goal is federal legislation, and we feel our success at state legislation is a step in the right direction. We also hope to use the seeds from our education phase to demand justice for the Uyghur people.

A Statement on Accountability

When we refer to the government, or other people involved in supporting this tragedy, we are referring to the individuals responsible for perpetuating racial and ethnic genocide within China. End the Uyghur Genocide holds the government of China responsible for the genocide currently occurring. We do not believe that every person within China or of Chinese descent deserves to bear the burden of accountability for these internment camps and do not support the discrimination of any person under these pretenses. While there are many individuals who are contributing to the existence of these camps, we do not hold the people, as a whole, of China responsible.
